Chavi is one of our three largest climbing nets and has room for lots of children wanting to throw themselves into scaling the climbing system. The climbing net is cone-shaped and features four rings around a central post, one of which is a bird’s nest. The rings divide the climbing net into different levels, which makes it easier for children to take breaks and decide how high up they want to climb.
When climbing, children get to use all their muscle groups and train their gross motor skills. Children really have to use their arms and legs when climbing the net. In the bird’s nest, children can come together and practise their social skills, or simply take a break from playing. The large net also sets the stage for many different games such as ‘tag’, competitions and role-play, and is also a good place to simply hang out.
