Bertil is one of the multi-level play towers of the series. This model has two levels of 90 cm and 140 cm, respectively. The Bertil play tower challenges the children’s gross motor skills and balance, both when they access the levels via the stepping stones and when taking a trip down the sliding poles. Do you want a similar model with stairs and a slide, which is more appropriate for younger children? Then have a look at our LB135 Baldur play system.
The stepping stones on the Bertil play tower give the children a different ascent, which in particular challenges their balance. The balance is important to stimulate, because while exercising the balance, you also train the cerebellum, which is used when we go up the stairs or lift things. Additionally the stepping stones make it easy to combine the play system with the other balancing equipment of the Basic series.
The first level of the tower is equipped with a window that inspires the children to creative and fun games as well as social interaction. At the top of the tower, a trip down the sliding poles can be enjoyed at full speed, and are you one of the really cool children that wants to test their arm and leg strength, then the sliding poles can also be used as a way to access the floor of the tower.
In the Basic series, we focused on achieving a timeless design which could fit into urban spaces, homeowners and housing associations as well as day-care centres. All the playground equipment offers a feeling of lightness and transparency, which does not dominate the outdoor environment. Additionally the neutral colours and the simple structure also give room for the children’s own imagination to flourish, and they can to a large extent create their own world.

The stainless steel sliding poles offer a similar experience to the popular slide. The difference is that the sliding poles challenge children’s gross motor skills and balance significantly more. The sliding poles are therefore suitable for older children.

Children use their whole body to keep their balance and coordinate their movements on the play equipment. Balance and coordination are fundamental to children’s physical and cognitive development, and it is therefore important that they are stimulated from an early age.

Transparent polycarbonate adds extra fun for children as they see the world anew through the windows and domes. Polycarbonate is extremely impact-resistant, whatever the temperature. The material is also UV-protected to prevent the boards from fading when exposed to sunlight.
