Ella is a two-tower play environment with play activities for up to 10-12 children aged 0-4 years. Ella might be one of the first pieces of playground equipment a child encounters. It is designed to encourage crawling, standing and walking. But it will also encourage children to start learning to express themselves and their wonderment, interact with others, practise their first words, handle their first conflicts, as well as establishing their first friendships and learning about basic social relations. Ella offers plenty of scope for fun and games, and supports the child’s natural development.
The age-appropriate activities on Ella include movable flowers, butterflies and bees to stimulate children’s fine motor skills, and at the same time encourage discussions and language training. Ella also has a ‘mood panel’, with faces that can lead to deeper discussions about how the child is feeling. The other side of the panel is designed to encourage a talk about the weather: Here, the child can turn a red arrow to point it at different weather symbols, paving the way for a chat about summer activities or which clothes to wear to stay warm in winter.
