The board and the operation manager Jacob Rabek at the housing association Aarhus Omegn wanted a significant and different playground. “It has to be a playground the department can be proud of.” Says operation manager Jacob Rabek.

The playground consist of the LEDON Pirates series the biggest pirate ship Alexandrina, which is filled with play activities, among other things; hidden treasures, a big tube slide, a wobbly plank, and all sorts of moveable parts: telescope, wheel, bell, diamonds, and so on. Besides the ship, the playground also has the belonging raft and swing set.

LEDON’s products are produced in Denmark. We are focused on sustainability, and it makes a lot of sense to buy a Danish product, which has not been shipped halfway around the earth. It has been important that LEDON has been flexible and adjusted to the wishes we had for the new playground.
